Wooford Park

Wooford Park has been the home of Laugharne RFC since 1951, when the club moved to the former farmland that became their long‑term playing field. The changing rooms, first built in 1959–1960, replaced the old zinc baths the players once used outdoors behind the Cross House Inn. These changing rooms have seen only modest changes over the decades and remain a core part of the ground’s traditional character. The venue also features a main stand, constructed in 1992 to mark the club’s centenary season, providing covered spectator viewing along the touchline.

Overall, Wooford Park offers a classic, community‑club environment: a long‑established playing surface, historic changing facilities, and a centenary stand that together form the heart of rugby in Laugharne.
