Laugharne Carnival 2026
The streets of Laugharne were transformed into a vibrant celebration of colour, music and imagination on Saturday, 25 July, as residents and visitors turned out in force for the annual Laugharne Carnival. Organised by Laugharne Rugby Football Club, the event began on The Grist before the fancy-dress parade, led by the popular Sambadoc Marching Band, made its way through the town to Cors Playing Fields for an afternoon of entertainment, food, games and judging.
The standard of fancy dress entries was exceptionally high this year, with judges facing a difficult task across all categories. From magical characters and historical figures to creative family and community group themes, participants of all ages showcased remarkable effort, originality and imagination.
