Joint plans have now been drawn up and submited to Carmarthenshire County Council which will, allow us to develop the sports field, allow the local school to expand with a new classroom, provide a footpath between Orchard Park and Broadway and provide at least 38 new large detached houses to the community.

All all the local bodies and the community of Laugharne support this project which will then allow the Athletic Club to apply for major grant aid to help with this development.

Planning approval has now been granted for the scheme and the Section 106 agreement now complete and signed.

Laugharne Athletic Club are now drawing up plans to develop the field starting with new changing facilities.
