Travel Record

Leave Heathrow - Tuesday 28th August, 2007

Bangkok - Wednesday 29th August, 2007

Bangkok

An exuberant city of contrasts, from the serenity of the exquisitely ornate golden temples to the vibrant nightlife (not for the faint-hearted), the vast malls of designer shops to the bustling street stalls and marketplaces. Discover a thrilling mix of ancient and modern, oriental and occidental in this buzzing metropolis, then enjoy a host of day and overnight trips to fascinating places, including the Bridge on the River Kwai.

Thailand

Chang Mai - Monday 3rd September, 2007

Chiang Mai

An exotic colourful region of jungle clad hills, mighty rivers, magnificent temples and fascinating hilltribe villages.

This region has some of the best shopping in Thailand and is renowned for its skilled craftsmen. Chiang Mai's famous night market in particular has plenty of good shopping.

Laung Prabang in Loas - Friday 7th September, 2007

Laos

Luang Prabang

Luang Prabang

This small and friendly town sits in a picturesque setting at the confluence of the Mekong and Nam Khan rivers. Delightful to explore, you will find a wide variety of architectural styles from historic temples and wonderful old French mansions.

Luang Prabang is the jewel of Indochina, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1995. The ancient royal city is surrounded by mountains at the junction of the Mekong and its tributary, the Khan river. In the centre of the city is Mount Phousi with stunning views of the surrounding temples and hills. Luang Prabang is a city where time seems to stand still.

Vang Vieng - Monday 10th September, 2007

Hanoi Vietnam - Saturday 15th September

Vietnam                   North Vietnam

Hanoi

The capital of Vietnam and one of the hidden gems of South East Asia, Hanoi retains an elegance and charm not often found in this part of the world. With a laid back pace it's a great place to sit at a pavement cafe and watch life pass by.

Considered my many to be one of the most beautiful cities in South East Asia it has lakes, immaculately manicured parks and wide shady tree lined boulevards. There is plenty to see and do here with many fine old buildings to explore, more than 600 pagodas and Hoan Kiem Lake.

Diving in Nha Trang

The majority of the dive sites are within a 1 hour boat ride (or 15 minutes by our speedboats) from Nha Trang to the stunning nearby Islands of the Hon Mun Marine Park. This represents the BEST diving in The South China Sea.
